True mining work and not reconstitution, the Mine Image is alive. Along the 250 m of galleries, the Museum invites you to discover the anthracite mine with guides. You'll have to go in the mine wearing a helmet.
Live again the attractive technical and human adventure of the mine and the "black mouths". An exhibition room and a video will complete your visit.
If you took the train from Saint-Georges-de-Commiers at 2:30 PM, you could visit the Image Mine Museum in La Motte d'Aveillans (10 minutes by foot from the bee ecomuseum). You will be guided by former miners and the visit will last 1 hour approximately.
